Camp Guide / Instructor – Ignite Summer Camp
Location: Bloor West Village (Runnymede Presbyterian Church), Toronto
Dates: July 20 – July 31, 2026 (Monday – Friday)
Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
About the Role Are you a passionate leader who loves inspiring young minds? Ignite Academy is looking for a dynamic Camp Guide to help lead Toronto’s first entrepreneurship-focused summer camp! This is a perfect opportunity for a university student or recent graduate in ECE, Education, Business, or Communications to gain hands-on experience in a creative, fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do: Lead and support campers (ages 8–12) as they discover their inner minipreneur while having fun!
- Facilitate Innovation: Guide “Team Labs” where kids brainstorm, prototype, and pitch their big ideas.
- Build Future Skills: Foster a positive environment focused on resilience, collaboration, and critical thinking.
- Lead the Fun: Support daily camp operations, from welcome activities to outdoor play and final project showcases.
Who You Are: A University student or recent graduate (ECE, Education, Business, or related fields preferred).
- High energy and passionate about working with elementary-aged children.
- An “entrepreneurial” thinker who enjoys problem-solving and creative projects.
- Responsible, punctual, and a clear communicator.
- Previous camp or teaching experience is a strong asset.
- Police and Vulnerable Sector check required

Social Media/Digital Marketing Co-Op Student
Location: Remote / Hybrid (Weekly in-person meetings in Bloor West Village, Toronto preferred)
Term: Summer 2026 (typically May – August)
Status: Fixed-Term / For College Credit
About the Role: Ignite Academy is seeking a Digital Marketing Co-Op Student to help us spark curiosity and innovation in the next generation of leaders. Working directly with the Founder, you will play a key role in executing our digital strategy while learning the “best practices” of modern marketing in a fast-growing startup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management: Own the content calendar! You’ll be responsible for scheduling posts and engaging with our community across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Strategy & Brainstorming: Participate in weekly creative sessions to develop campaign ideas for our summer camps and after-school clubs.
- Digital Analytics: Help track engagement metrics to see what resonates with parents and educators.
What You’ll Learn: Direct mentorship from a founder with 15+ years of marketing expertise.
- How to build a brand identity and execute a full-funnel marketing plan.
- Advanced tools for scheduling, automation, and content design.
Requirements: Must be currently enrolled in an Ontario College Co-Op program (Marketing, Communications, or Business).
- Strong visual eye and experience with social media platforms.
- Punctual and Professional: While the role is remote, you are expected to hit deadlines and show up ready for our weekly meetings.
- Access to a laptop and reliable internet.
